GTA VI: 10 Biggest Rumours

8. Dynamic Weather

While the weather in the cities of the GTA franchise does differ it never gives us extreme changes. In the next instalment of the game it is possible that we could see much more dynamic weather. While we only really see the weather change from sun to showers in the previous games it would be nice to see a wider range of weather and its effects on the cities. Adverse weather could also provide us with new gameplay mechanics. We could get torrential downpours which meant that certain areas would experience flooding and had to be avoided, snow storms which would make driving more difficult and high winds which shook the trees in the streets and slowed us down when riding a bike. It may also be interesting to see extreme weather like a hurricane as that would allow us to see the effects on the environment we were playing in. We could see people attempting to rebuild the pier and flimsy buildings along the coastline and the damage done from fallen trees and street signs. Of course the presense of this extreme weather is entirely dependent on the real world city GTA uses to inspire the metropolis of GTA VI. It may seem like a small aspect of gameplay but it is one which would make for a more realistic and immersive world, something we know Rockstar are always interested in.
