GTA VI: 10 Biggest Rumours

9. A Return Of Series Classics

Though the changes it made were mostly extremely well received, GTA traditionalists were angered that the more realistic flourishes added to the fifth game in the series resulted in the loss of some of the more bombastic aspects which had once defined the beloved car-jacking games. With a focus on living a realistic (albeit crime-filled) life in San Andreas and engaging in activities like yoga, cycling and socialising, we didn€™t see some of the most adored aspects of older GTA games make a return like Rampage Mode, distinctive gangs or Vice City€™s notorious chainsaw. Of course a more realistic experience leads to more immersion in the game but nobody wanted these additions to come at the cost of elements of the game that were so enjoyable. Rumours €“ all of which can be traced back to fans €“ suggest that with GTA VI, Rockstar will reintroduce some of these scrapped elements which their crime series had originally been built upon. They might clash with the more realistic, narrative-driven angle the series has taken, but they will offer more for the player who wants to jump into San Andreas and cause some havoc for 20 minutes.
