GTA VI: 10 Things It Must Learn From Sleeping Dogs

4. Worthwhile Side Missions

Despite their best efforts, the majority of the side missions in GTA V were a bit... weird, to say the least. Most of the things that got offered to your characters made you at home go "F that!" only for them to accept, leading to minutes later attempting to find some soiled celebrity's garments for a couple of elderly collectors, chasing down parts of a crashed probe, or fending off aliens in a weird Saints Row-style acid trip. In Sleeping Dogs you get missions that play into the fact Wei is still a cop underneath everything else, letting you bust some heads with a posse of A.I. officers, as well as in an additional DLC mode there's an Enter the Dragon-tribute where you take part in an island-centric martial arts tournament. Considering Trevor's position as trying to get his self-named Trevor Philips Industries off the ground, there should have been plenty opportunities to get stuck into the practices surrounding that; clearing out factories for potential workforces, or on a much smaller scale just defending your stash against the many enemies he made at random points.
