GTA VI: 10 Things It Must Learn From Vice City

1. Sort The Soundtrack

Mentioned at the top of the article and absolutely vital for GTA VI. The soundtrack in the last few games has been ropey at best, with GTA IV being a notable low point. Not since Vice City has a soundtrack, across all of their many radio stations, come together to perfectly define an era, a moment, a feeling that you get when playing the game. The principle behind a good soundtrack is that there is something for all tastes. It's something which GTA V tries very hard to do but in its original form (on PS3, XBox 360) it failed to hit the right notes for many seasoned players. Its stations were too limited and largely similar in style across the board (FlyLo FM and Soulwax FM being two notable similarities). With Vice City, things were simpler and much clearer, the talk radio stations were much funnier and the music sat perfectly among the violence and carnage of the game. Ask anyone about Vice City and they all remember the soundtrack. GTA VI's soundtrack has a lot live up to.
