2. A New Setting
It seems to us that Rockstar have done Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas to death. We've been to various forms of Liberty City three times now, with GTA III, GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA IV, while Vice City has been done twice with GTA: Vice City and Vice City Stories. After taking us back to San Andreas with GTA V, we also feel the California setting has been worn out. In GTA VI, it's time to take us somewhere new. Where, exactly, is open to debate. In the past, places such as Tokyo, London and the fictitious 'Carcer City' - setting of Rockstar's 'Manhunt' - have been proffered. Whatever the case, we hope Rockstar confine Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas to their past when they make the transition to the next generation of consoles.
