3. Meat Shields

What Fans Want: While GTA IV significantly overhauled the shooting and cover mechanics of the series, one thing it was still lacking was the ability to take human shields, pulling them in front of you in order to cool down enemies or even just absorb a few bullets while you fire away. Aside from looking super cool, it's a fun way to take care of a nearby enemy in a supremely brutal fashion, and plenty of other similar games (like Sleeping Dogs) have already implemented it well enough. Why It Won't Happen: With Rockstar's mechanics well-honed by this point, it's probably just awkward to throw into the mix, and it invites the inevitable question of: how long can you hold a dead body there, just soaking up bullets before the bullets start penetrating through to the player? While hardly a deal-breaker for GTA VI, it would be a fun way to change the combat up a little.
