GTA VI: 7 Awesome Things From V That Must Return

5. First Person Mode

Eyebrows were raised when Rockstar announced that the re-release of GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One would feature a first person mode. For the first time in the series, gamers would be able to pretty much play Grand Theft Auto like a modern-day first person shooter. The system is obviously still in infancy, meaning it's worth exploring once more in VI. First person games are popular for a reason - they immerse the player in the world and make them feel like they're viewing it with their own eyes, rather than merely controlling a character and staring at the back of their head as they shift them around the game world. GTA's world has always been a major selling point in its own right, so it makes perfect sense that an FPS-style feel would work. Wouldn't it be interesting if developers included the option for gamers to experience GTA VI entirely from the first person? This would clearly require a huge overhaul in terms of design, such as driving and cutscenes, but it could be awesome to even switch between first and third person depending on the task at hand.
