GTA: London, 1969 was little more than an expansion pack to the original game when it was released in 1999. GTA 2 would be released months later, so in many ways the English experience was a make weight for fans of the first title, who now had a top-down British capital to play around with. Of course, the birds-eye perspective had limitations, and it wasn't until GTA went fully 3D that a lot of people feel the series came into its own. Now that Rockstar are fully comfortable with 3D, and have been since 2001, there's perhaps never been a better time than now to explore a fully-rendered London again. For years, GTA fans have wanted to see this, and it could be about to become a reality. If speculation is to be believed about multiple protagonists living in different cities, if not countries, there's no reason to suspect that Rockstar wouldn't be intrigued by London. After all, the city offers a lot of landmarks, and would create a different feel to American locations, featuring British quirks such as driving on the other side of the road, just as one example. Is London a viable choice for GTA VI?
