Level Up through Exploring There was already a lot of focus on exploration in numbers 10 through 7 of this list, but an additional reason to be excited about all of that wanderlust-satisfying goodness is that you are actually given quite large experience awards for visiting new locales. Spend a few minutes killing a dozen Ascalonian ghosts in the forest and you'll earn a decent amount of experience points, but go climb that tall hill over there where you can get a panoramic view of the countryside and you'll earn even more! Just learning your way around one of the major cities will reward you with enough experience points to level up your character at least once! Each city and zone in the game has a number of waypoints (fast-travel markers) to discover and a boatload of points of interest. Each of these locations gives you a hefty experience boost, and you'll no doubt be compelled to try to find them all, just for the challenge of the task - not to mention that a lot of dynamic events happen near points of interest.
