Hades Tips: 10 Crazy Tricks & Builds You Need To Try
7. The Dodgiest Builds
The Dodge mechanic in Hades is a lot stronger than people give it credit for, and though the highest possible Dodge chance won't give you invulnerability (even if it's technically possible to get in-game), having major attacks miss you can be a huge boon in a particularly difficult playthrough.
Building dodge is something that can be done if you're built for speed, prepping the build at the House of Hades beforehand.
The fully upgraded Zagreus fists give the player +15% dodge chance as a base. Greater Reflex, one of the yellow mirror upgrades, adds temporary +50% dodge chance for two seconds if you dash just before getting hit in-game.
Hermes's Lambent Plume gives +1.2% if you clear enemy encounters quickly on the given timer, which can go up to over 50% in-game if encounters are cleared successfully.
And finally, Hermes himself can gift Dodge Chance up to 25% if the boon is heroic level.
Dodge can be invaluable in large fights, but as stated, it doesn't make one invulnerable, so being careful in a fight is still important. Paired, however, with the added Plume movement speed and other defensive boons from gods like Athena, it can certainly get you close.
