Halo 4: 10 Reasons It's The Best Halo Yet

2. Multiplayer: New Toys

343 aren't content to coast on the already awesome array of weaponry that the Halo series has amassed, either; there are a bunch of new toys here, and players are going to have a great time getting to grips with the sheer, unadulterated destruction they have to offer. Probably the most fun addition is the Mantis, a giant armoured protection unit - not unlike the one seen in James Cameron's Avatar - which you can dive in and obliterate pretty much everything in sight, be it a foot soldier, a vehicle, or another Mantis. It's a slow moving and vulnerable option, but the sheer level of carnage it can unleash in lieu makes it something well worth giving a go (if you can ever get in one, that is). Another notable weapon is a Promethean Pulse grenade, which lets out a luminous forcefield before exploding in all directions, able to get players out of a tight-spot and rack up some neat multi-kills if they're observant enough. Additions like these make for the most chaotic and thrilling online Halo experience yet.
