Halo 5: 10 Things Fans Need

2. Larger Battles

Halo Game Haze 159398 This applies to both multiplayer and the campaign - running on the new 'Xbox One', Halo 5 should be able to handle much larger-scale battles without issues such as lag creating limitations. One feature that fans have been particularly looking forward to is the idea of '30 vs 30' online multiplayer battles which - frankly - would be fantastic to experience. The vast array of weapons and vehicles that Halo 5 has the potential to include offers unimaginable variety to the gameplay, with more organised gamers having a greater chance to coordinate tactical assaults and form larger, more efficient squads. At such a scale, Halo 5 battles could become comparable to those currently being showcased in 'Battlefield 4', taking the intensity of online matches to a whole new level. Larger battles could also be included within the game's campaign itself, the system presumably being able to support far more onscreen AI. This could allow armies of marines to follow you into battle against massive hordes of alien foes. We have seen big battles in Halo games before, sometimes with vehicles and enemies fighting far away in the background or in the sky, but if Halo 5 could sustain even bigger, direct conflicts, it will truly represent the idea that two - or more - species are indeed locked in a large-scale, interplanetary war. Of course, we cannot talk about battles without including the highly desired 'space battles'. Halo: Reach was the only game to include a space battle - the feature only found on one level - though many players enjoyed the fresh experience so much that they wanted more. While Halo 4 offered a similar experience in another level, it didn't quite satisfy the needs of the fans who were hoping for more dogfighting against alien ships. Incorporating space battles and dogfights into the multiplayer experience would be certain to fulfil the hopes and wishes of many a Halo fan.
