4. Don't Underestimate The New Boost-Slide

A favourite of COD players for a couple of years, 343 finally put a slide into Halo 5 - although with all the fun you can have ground-pounding enemies into submission, it's easy to forget about it. Basically, as there's a lot more impetus to shoot for the head in Guardians than ever before, reducing that target by not strafing sideways or jumping (both expected tactics in Halo's online modes at this point) and instead sliding into combat, will get you the edge on the competition almost every time. Use it to come around corners too, as I guarantee that even if your opponent has flagged you on their radar as an incoming blip, they'll be least expecting someone to dart out across the floor. Factor the slide into your standard repertoire and you'll immediately find it affords you a couple of extra precious seconds to get some shots off and emerge victorious.
