There's a reason that video game fans always refer back to Star Wars: Battlefront II all the way back in 2005. It's a damn good romp with a real defining feature, one that hasn't been properly replicated again: space battles. The Halo series is ready for spectacular playable space battles, especially when you consider the depth of its lore. The books and comics depict so many epic moments - the Battle for Earth or Sigma Octanus IV - where the player could be given a chance to experience war from the skies, piloting your own Pelican and watching all kinds of insane explosions and skirmishes. If 343 Industries wants to truly deliver on the promise of epicness in Halo 5, give fans the chance to fly their own gunship and go all Top Gun on the enemy.
