Halo Infinite: 10 Promising Rumours You Must Hear

1. Big Team Battle Is Getting Even Bigger

Coming from the same reliable source as the Forge leak, Klobrille claims that Infinite's multiplayer will have ”Big Team Battle 2.0 mode”, with “enhanced vehicular combat… squad spawning… pelican drops, and many more surprises".

This sounds a lot like the Battlefield model of tackling multiplayer, so new Halo maps would have to be made bigger specifically for this game mode. It could improve on the hectic gameplay of BTB taking place on the same sized maps as regular squad games, as seen in previous Halo entries.

Improving vehicular combat would also be a huge boost to multiplayer, as it often feels clunky and unintuitive, with not a lot to do for the passengers who don't get to drive or shoot the main gun.

Even with a focus on BTB, Halo has always had a lot of other game modes to satisfy every player want. If a Battlefield inspired BTB mode doesn't sound like your thing, there will always be the traditional deathmatch-and-friends to get your red or blue blood pumping.

And if a Battlefield inspired BTB does sound like your thing—get ready to shout oohrah across a canyon with thirty+ teammates ready to teabag at a moment’s notice!
