Halo Infinite: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

1. PLAY THE OBJECTIVE

With 343 sadly confirming that Halo's XP system will be based around specific daily and weekly challenges until at least May 2022, that only incentivises players to "Get 5 Ravager kills" or "Destroy 5 Brute Choppers", rather than, say, play the objective and actually win a match.

It's an issue compounded by the fact deathmatch/Slayer has been the most popular Halo playlist for 20 years, yet bizarrely you can't search for it manually, seeing players force this method of play into every other playlist.

Basically, don't be one of an increasing number of people aimlessly shooting opponents when your team needs you capturing a flag, picking up Power Seeds or defending a Stronghold.

Halo Infinite will give you the same XP regardless of winning, losing, playing well or just sitting in the corner, but trust me: Your team - and you - will appreciate actually winning games.

As ludicrous as it sounds, the most obvious thing Halo Infinite "doesn't tell you"... is to play Halo Infinite.
