Halo Infinite: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
12. Use The Grapple Hook If You Fall Off The Map (And A Secret Melee Kill)
Someone at 343 has been playing - and loving - Titanfall 2.
As with everything from Uncharted 4 to Sekiro, Halo Infinite's grappling hook fundamentally adds to your already sizeable arsenal of moves - however it's worth pointing out that it can directly save your bacon in multiplayer too.
If you happen to fall off the map, just whirl around and grapple hook-your way back up (providing you have enough uses left).
The grappling hook can also be used to retrieve weapons, grab fusion coils, latch onto vehicles for sky-jacks, close distance on enemies directly, or you can skewer spartans with it for a kill if they're on low enough health
Lastly, know that hitting melee while attached to an enemy in the campaign will see Master Chief enter a "readied" melee stance, zooming to his target in the game's newest version of Halo 5's Ground Pound.
