1. "Sir, Permission To Leave The Station."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_HxlekWWN0 Game: Halo 2 Level: Cairo Station Cairo Station serves as the first level to Halo 2 and from the get-go, it's clear that everything was bigger and better. It sees Master Chief defending the station from a Covenant attack at the very beginning of the Battle of Earth, upping the ante almost immediately. Mowing down and slaying the Covenant forces allows you to appreciate the new weaponry on offer in the second game (like duel-wield SMGs and the awesome Battle Rifle) but it's the final section of the level that makes this a truly legendary mission. The Covenant have brought a bomb on board the station and Chief only just manages to defeat the invading forces and defuse the bomb. He asks Cortana how much time was left and she simply remarks "You don't want to know". Chief then asks Fleet Admiral Hood if he has permission to leave the station. When asked what for, he utters the now immortal line - "To give the Covenant back their bomb". Permission is granted and the subsequent cutscene is no doubt etched into the memories of Halo fans. There's no finer moment in the entire Halo universe; after all, if Chief hadn't endeared himself to you before, that one line just made him your new favourite action hero. Cairo Station is a special level (one that is well worth revisiting) and with the glorious Anniversary remake, you'll be pumping your fist in the air all over again. Agree? Disagree? Are there any other great Halo moments that you think people need to revisit again? Let us know in the comments below.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
