Halo: Master Chief Collection - 10 Issues 343 STILL Need To Fix

6. Firefight

Halo multiplayer
Bungie

Introduced in Halo 3: ODST and maintained in Halo: Reach, Firefight was the Halo series' version of a 'Horde' or 'Survival' game mode, pitting a small group of players against wave after wave of AI enemies.

It was a simple and fun way for Halo players to enjoy a bit of cooperative action with friends or random strangers from around the world, and it was very warmly-received when it first launched, but hasn't made it into the MCC despite ODST's campaign being added back in 2015.

The MCC does feature Halo 4's Firefight-equivalent 'Spartan Ops' mode, so it's a shame to see that classic Firefight hasn't made it into the game just yet. Between all the different campaigns, custom games, and matchmaking playlists, MCC players already have a wealth of options available to them, but there's a big chunk of the community that simply adores Firefight and would really love to see it added in.
