Halo: Ranking Every Game From Worst To Best
10. Halo: Spartan Assault
Most of the things that were said about Spartan Strike can be said about its predecessor, Halo: Spartan Assault.
The combat is fun enough for a small-scale spin-off and the game has a decent amount of replayability going for it. But the story didn't really feel like a necessary addition to the timeline - save for a few intriguing moments - and you can be done with the campaign in no more than an afternoon.
However, the thing that makes Spartan Assault stand above its sequel is the fact that it was also given a console release on Xbox One and Xbox 360, which featured improved visuals and a more familiar control scheme for players unaccustomed to mobile gaming.
It's also worth mentioning that Spartan Assault's soundtrack was pretty good. Not quite up to the standard of the main series, mind you, but they definitely tried.
