Hidden Agenda looks to take advantage of Sony's new PlayLink phone app, making it one of the first games to do so.

PlayLink is a new feature that looks to create a "second screen" to play on, similar to Microsoft's attempts with Smartglass. Based on the trailer, players will able to use the PlayLink to access clues that they have discovered, among other features.

PlayLink is not exclusive to Hidden Agenda, and instead will be rolled out to a whole group of games. The app allows up to five people to participate at a time, as long as everyone is using the same WiFi, and will be available for both Android and iOS. This in itself is refreshing, since it wouldn't be too far-fetched to expect Sony to limit the app to phones that they designed themselves.

The focus on PlayLink is so high that it looks to be the primary way to play the game, even taking precedent over the PS4 controller. Hopefully, the app will be fully functional when the game is launched and will provide a streamlined way to access important information.

PlayLink looks to provide an interesting addition to the gameplay of Hidden Agenda.

Speaking of which...
