Hitman 1 & 2: 10 Best Levels So Far

8. Another Life (Whittleton Creek)

Oh sweet suburbia! This mission harkens back to one of the most classic levels in all of Hitman, A new life. Another Life has 47 sneaking from house to house like a common cat burglar trying to find clues as to the whereabouts of a secret society, as well as having to kill a Russian pensioner who founded said society.

One of the targets, Nolan Cassidy, is a generic bodyguard-type but the other, Janus, is an old guy hobbling around his home so as you can imagine this provides for some amusing scenarios. Whittleton Creek is just fun to explore, while not as innovative or action-packed as other levels this one feels somewhat nostalgic and is a nice change of pace from the mostly large-scale levels we've had prior to this.

Assassinations aren't the most unique in this one however, as most just involve variations of the classic methods. Some highlights involve giving Janus a checkup and killing him just as he begins to recognise 47, as well as taking Cassidy on a private house tour.

Exploration is the reason to visit this one though, while generic and small on the surface once you start digging, and you will when looking for clues, Whittleton Creek isn't the innocent little neighbourhood you first thought it was.

Lewis Bunce hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
