Horizon Forbidden West: 9 Things We Want To See

3. More robots to ride

Gaining the ability to ride your first machine in Horizon Zero Dawn was an exhilarating experience. That was until you realized it amounted to nothing more than a glorified mount.

Being slightly expanded on in the Frozen Wilds expansion, to allow the player to attack from horse-back, the idea of riding something like a Thunderjaw into battle is what we're really clamoring for. It’s easy to see why the developer didn’t include this first time round, as controlling a Thunderjaw would take all challenge away, but don’t forget, there are bigger enemies out there.

Even if these sections were limited to specific set pieces, the thought of striding head first into a heard of machines on the back of one of these behemoths would be a sight to behold. Considering you can sneak up on these enemies and control them for a limited time, it was never actually explained why Aloy couldn’t climb on the back of one.

With underwater sections seeming to a big part of the sequel, it would make sense for the player to be able to get around quicker on the back of the crocodile-like Snapmaws.

Even if the only thing they add in the sequel is the ability to run around guns-blazing from the back of more machines (with the added ability to attack), most fans will be climbing over themselves to get their hands on the sequel.
