Horizon Zero Dawn: 10 Things The Sequel Must Have
4. A Streamlined Inventory System
One of the few truly cumbersome aspects of the game is the inventory system, which makes equipping weapons and sorting resources far more time-consuming and irritating than it needs to be.
The weapon wheel only allowing four weapons to be equipped at once is particularly irksome, and even when using multiple ammo types, switching-out weapons feels like jumping through a hoop the player absolutely shouldn't have to.
General inventory management also reeks of busy-work, and considering that having an infinite capacity for crafting items wouldn't really affect the core gameplay at all, it'd be great for Guerrilla to add this accessibility feature in the sequel.
Basically, don't make us work unnecessarily hard for the good stuff, OK?
