3. Reveal The System

Remember the original "boomerang" PS3 controllers Sony showed off in 2005?

Though they were never deemed official and were replaced by a shock-less DualShock (then called the SixAxis), these things were still super striking, and got a few million conversations going as to what the PS3 was going to look like in the end.

It's this sort of buzz that yes, can go spectacularly wrong, but gives us so much to talk about.

Ultimately, we don't want a Sony that does a couple of Wired interviews, a logo reveal and an incomprehensible deep-dive on tech specs. We want talking points - mainstream, pop culture ones - and things to discuss around the digital water cooler.

Sony should've began word of the PS5 when they had something to show. Not just on the game side, but the console too.
