In 2020, you'd assume the days of a bad camera system were a thing of the past, (except in Final Fantasy XV). And that goes double for a Legend of Zelda title since the franchise has always been praised for its camera mechanics.

But this is a recurring concern in Age of Calamity. If you're pinned into a wall by Ganon's minions, not only is it hard to get out, you can't see where you are. This becomes an increasing problem as you progress through the game since you will face larger enemies. How are you expected to fight towering centaurs and screen-filling cyclopses when you can't see what you're doing?

This problem forces the player to button-mash like crazy, waiting for the camera to swing around enough until you can figure out how to escape. Because you have to constantly monitor the camera, it makes you lose concentration on the battle, meaning you're more likely to make mistakes.

It's really frustrating to perform a mission for over half an hour and be killed by a the boss because of a dodgy camera.
