Injustice 2: 10 Incredibly Powerful DC Characters NetherRealm Left Out

9.The Presence

The Presence
DC Comics

Who wouldn't want to fight as literally God in a beat-em-up? Sure, he'd be an impossible opponent, but as special characters go, you can't get much higher billed than the entity that created everything.

In the comics, The Presence is basically the Christian God, though maybe keep that on the low-down, because the Comics Code frowns on overt religiousness. As such, he comes with unimaginable, unfathomable powers - which is exactly what you want when selecting your fighter. Why punch someone when you can disintegrate them with a raised eyebrow. Why risk breaking a nail when you could simply wipe their consciousness out with a lazy hand swipe?

Logistically, putting The Presence into a game would be difficult on several accounts: his omnipotence makes "normal" manifestation tricky, and he doesn't really have a traditional "design" in DC comics. But that could also be used as an advantage: he could have been included as a powerful entity capable of looking like any other character on the roster, and able to somehow use ALL of their powers.

That sounds like cheating, but then that's sort of the point.

Alternatively, of course, you could go with his appearance as The Hand, and steal Super Smash Bros' use of Master Hand, who was playable through hacking. That'd be a nice gag at least.
