5. Blue Beetle

Owner of some of the best loot and one of the most experimental fighting styles in the game, it's easy to be put off Blue Beetle, thanks to his staggering array of stance-switches and attack options.

Once you simply accept that part of his charm is constantly swapping Beetle's hands into either wrecking balls or barbs - then factoring in his flight ability - you'll start to get a feel for when you should be attacking and retreating in tow. A supremely agile fighter with plenty of launchers and projectiles, getting the most out of Beetle means assembling a number of custom combos you can most often end with a meter burn to trigger a last-minute grapple.

He's certainly a very visually impressive fighter reliant on keeping foes guessing with what you're going to do next, but with an array of lumbering heavy blows, projectile blasts, distance-closing charges and a devastating Super, Blue Beetle more than deserves your attention.
