The toys. Those wonderful toys. In the months following its release, Injustice kept us playing with a whole host of DLC and unlockable pieces, such as extra characters and character specific add-on packs. Highlights included getting to play as Lobo, General Zod and The Martian Manhunter, with the former proving to be particularly good fun. Additional costumes were also filtered through for everyone to dress up in and enjoy, the highlight being a snazzy new wardrobe for the Joker and New 52 costumes for everyone else. The environments, too, were packed with so many winks and nudges to the games knowledgeable audience (there's Dr. Fate, in the background, and a green room at Arkham chock full of inmates) that it was impossible not to be charmed. Heres hoping a sequel keeps on bringing the goodies with its extra costumes (how about a chance to play with fellow Lanterns Guy Gardner, Baz and Kilowog?), unlockable features and background scenery. It's always satisfying to wrap a piece of your environment around an opponent's head even more so when that piece of environment is baby Kal-El's rocketship and your opponent is Superman himself. Furthermore, following Scorpions appearance in Injustice, a Mortal Kombat character or two is almost guaranteed this second time around. Wed like to see Injustice 2 look even further afield, giving us the opportunity to fight some less familiar faces how about Judge Dredd or maybe even a couple of Avengers?
