Injustice 2: 5 Major Issues NetherRealm Must Address
1. Deadshot Spam
Most of the characters in Injustice 2 have a weakness of some kind, whether it be being too slow or a lack of range. Deadshot, on the other hand, has no notable weaknesses.
Deadshot is the bane (no pun intended) of online play in Injustice 2. He's got extremely good movement, fast shooting speed, a heavy specialty in guns and ranged attacks, and great combo potential. No area of his moveset falters which makes him an easy target for cheap players to exploit.
A similar issue occurred in the original Injustice: Gods Among Us with Deathstroke. He too had a proclivity on ranged attacks, which made him the most popular character to play online. Deadshot feels even worse here because of how varied his moveset is. He's hard to predict and that makes him hard to fight.
Of course, it's not really up to NetherRealm if the people who play him online spam or not. The only real solution to making the online playing field more enjoyable is to nerf Deadshot and reduce how fast and how far he can fire. As long as one of his areas is more open to attack, the whole online experience will be much smoother.
