Though it's a shame we can't dress Joker up in any costume more reminiscent of his Animated Series incarnation, this Jared Leto-lite edition still walks a solid line between genuinely manic and physically intimidating.

As designing any incarnation of Joker is an excuse to create as many fun weapons and items possible, Injustice 2's Clown Prince has everything from explosive chatter-boxes to massive pistols - even a pie-in-the-face supermove-trigger, should you get lucky during a loot drop.

His presence in the roster might be nerfed thanks to just how ill-conceived the on-screen version is, but at least mechanically, Joker is as playfully psychotic as ever.
