Just like Cheetah, Catwoman's prowess comes from locking an opponent into the side of the arena and going to town on them with melee flurries.

Even Selina's special attack is simply an auto-combo that when full, ends in a launcher, letting you get more hits off before ending with a few cracks of her whip. Also mirroring Cheetah is a similarly low stat for strength, meaning that despite looking like you're taking the fight to your foe, they can often then still decimate you with a handful of return blows.

Props to the loot available for Catwoman though - the ability to dress her up in purple with the full mask is very Golden Age.
