Injustice 2 Review: 9 Ups & 2 Downs

1. It Will Appeal To Both Casuals & The Hardcore

Balancing a game to appeal to two distinct sets of gamers is always a challenge, but Injustice 2 does it a damn sight better than most. Yes, it's not competitive enough for the serious players and the loot grind may put off some casuals, but on the whole, it's braced extremely well between these two gamer philosophies, ensuring each will find plenty to enjoy here.

Considering how easily fighting games can turn off mainstream audiences and how deeply-scrutinised they are by the hardcore crowd, one suspects Injustice 2 will be mostly lauded by both sides of the fence (even if the casuals probably get the better end of the bargain).
