Injustice 2 Vs. Tekken 7 - Which Game Is Better?

A battle for the ages.

Tekken 7 Injustice 2
NetherRealm/Namco

Like how March brought us the titanic showdown of Zelda: Breath of the Wild vs Horizon Zero Dawn, once again, two comparable heavyweights of the industry have released alongside one another, forcing many consumers and fans to choose a side.

In the blue corner, Injustice 2, NetherRealm's pitch-perfect loot-heavy superhero brawler, aiming to please both the DC fans of the world and fighting game fanatics alike. Thankfully - as is the case with Tekken - it's a meticulously balanced release that feels confident in every regard, in this case flexing its muscles, ready to take on all comers.

Opposite, the returning champion and king of the fighting game genre itself, Tekken 7. Though the arcade version of the game has been around since March 2015, this new home release comes with roster changes, a full story campaign, nostalgia box-ticking Jukebox and Gallery modes, and of course, more of that exquisite Tekken gameplay.

Regardless of who wins - I'm going to award points as I go - both games are supremely well put together, ranking as some of the best of 2017, in fact.

Though, only one can be victorious. Get ready for the next battle...
