5. Midnighter & Apollo
When it comes to this couple, it'd be criminal to include one and not the other.
While not originally DC characters, this pair of superheroes would fit right into the Injustice series with their excellent arse-kicking talents.
Midnighter is practically an enhanced Batman, being a human with artificial elements, both his physical abilities and his reflexes are improved. Apollo, on the other hand, is much more similar to Superman, converting solar energy into omega levels of speed, strength and invulnerability, along with the most Superman power of all, heat vision.
Including this couple in the next Injustice game would make for an excellent parallel to the world's finest duo, and also bring some more diversity to the series, with the pair also being a couple.
