Is A GTA VI Protagonist Potentially Hiding In GTA IV?
Have Rockstar perhaps been hiding a GTA VI protagonist in plain sight?
The rumour mill is one that is in perpetual motion and there's few companies or franchises that that statement is truer for than Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto. Whether it's a rumour about a potential release date or their registering a ton of websites...or a screenshot leaking...or a map leaking...or a former employee leaking a ton of supposed details...or that it'll jump between the 1980s and the present day...or that The Weeknd is apparently involved. Look, we could be here for days listing all of the rumours and supposed leaks that are currently doing the rounds online.
As is often the case with this sort of thing, most of this is probably a big ol' steaming pile of...nonsense. At best anything you read online should be taken with a pretty hefty pinch of salt, so keep that in mind as we discuss one leak in particular that caught our attention for a very specific reason. Why are we being coy? It's in the title. We reckon we might have stumbled across what could potentially be a Grand Theft Auto VI protagonist, long forgotten in the LCPD Database from Grand Theft Auto IV.
Before going on, please remember that this is pure speculation that's dependent on a recent leak being at least partially true so...yeah, it's total speculation.
The leak in question is one that appeared on Reddit a week or so ago that contained a vast amount of supposed details pertaining to Grand Theft Auto VI, including details regarding the protagonists. Unfortunately both the original post and a screenshot of it that cropped up on Imgur have both been taken down. Fortunately, however, we take note of stuff that we find intriguing....
