Is A GTA VI Protagonist Potentially Hiding In GTA IV?
The leak purported that there would be four playable characters in Grand Theft Auto VI: Walther Wallace, a driver, Thomas Branigan, a smuggler, a drug dealer named Marcus Burke and an unnamed former member of the Israel Defence Forces. Now, it's the last one that piqued our interest and if you have a look at the image above you might see why.
As you can see, Rami Yalon was ex-Israeli special forces, meaning he would have been serving in the IDF as IDF is simply a blanket term for a number of branches. Not only that, the database gives his age in 2008 as forty-six, meaning he was born in 1962. If we're to go into full speculation mode here and just assume that Grand Theft Auto VI takes place in two time periods then it could actually be safe to say that the earlier time period could in fact be 1985, the year that Rami is eventually charged with murder at the age of twenty-three - either whilst still serving in the IDF or branching out on his own - and potentially the first time he touched down on US soil as well as potentially being the first time he begins working with the other protagonists.
Now, yes, that would make Rami fifty-eight during the present day chapters of the game, but that isn't exactly a stretch of the imagination for somebody trained in the Israeli special forces. We should also note that, from the information given on the database, that Rami was one hell of an efficient hitman, so much so that the mafia couldn't afford him after a while. Not only was he efficient, he was brutally efficient.
Honestly, given how so much of this seems falls into place - because we wanted it to - Rami seems like a logical character for Rockstar to go with, but, again, this is pure speculation and we might be (read: probably are) completely wrong, so why not tell us how wrong we are in the comments and share any theories you might have as well.
Much love everyone. Stay safe.
