Jurassic Park: 5 Best Video Games (And 5 That Sucked)

2. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (Sony Playstation, 1997)

The Lost World came out at a time when the PlayStation was at the height of it's power. The Sega Saturn wasn't even in the same stratosphere, popularity wise. So you would have thought that with the eagerly-awaited sequel to Jurassic Park, we would have had a game on our hands that was as playable as it was visually exciting. This was not the case.

Peeving gamers off right from the box art with the promise of playing as a T-Rex (you can, but only briefly) the game itself was frustratingly difficult. There is no clear objective, aside from letting you play as Sarah Harding or one of five dinos, let loose to wipe out surrounding humans and beasts.

The lack of save points made playing as Sarah a teeth-gritting venture and you have to wonder out of all the wondrous creatures Spielberg brought to the screen, why they made the bleeding Compy a playable character.

Barely worth playing through to the end, though there is an admittedly awesome Ian Malcolm Easter egg.
