12. Offload All Your Heaviest/Most Valuable Gear To Your Horse

Right then - getting enough cash so you can easily afford Saviour Snaps potions, good armour and more effective weapons.

The key is to mainline the story until you get your horse, and then set about doing Sir Bernard's bandit quests so you can loot groups of bodies at once. This will weigh you down, but hop into your inventory and hit Square/X to send any items across to your horse's more-than-capable space allocation.

You can even do this without first whistling for it, but basically, it'll allow you to transfer a couple of camps' worth of gear back to town. Simply ride your horse to the nearest trader, transfer your gear back and walk the final few steps.

Over-encumbrance isn't so much of an issue when you can do this, and you'll be swimming in coin in no time.
