Kingdom Hearts 3: 10 Final Fantasy Characters Who Must Appear
3. Cloud
Cloud's appearance in Kingdom Hearts 2 was disappointing compared to how he was in the first title. Having him make a real impact in Sora's final adventure would certainly make up for that.
Seeing Cloud appear for the first time in the original Kingdom Hearts was a pretty special moment, especially considering you got the chance to fight him. Although he wasn't really used to his fullest extent, it was much better than how he appeared in Kingdom Hearts 2, which was just a cameo at best.
Besides how iconic Cloud is to the franchise, this is one of the biggest reasons why he needs to appear in Kingdom Hearts 3. Actually giving Cloud some gameplay time besides a brief fight against the Heartless would be pretty cool, and even having him appear as a party member or a hidden challenge of some kind would be making fuller use of the character.
Cloud is simply one of the most important Final Fantasy characters out there and he definitely needs to see Sora grow up.
