Kingdom Hearts 3: 10 Reasons It's A Disappointment

3. Gummi Ships Are (Still) A Total Bore

The Gummi Ship system has always been hugely divisive among fans, and though Square Enix deserves a small measure of credit for making mandatory Gummi sequences pretty infrequent, they're still incredibly dull and grind the game's pacing to an immediate halt.

If you want to, it's easy enough to just spam the boost button and make your way to the next Disney world without too much trouble - bar the occasional unskippable boss fight - though these sequences are still insanely boring for the few minutes they last.

Square Enix should've made them entirely optional and just allowed players to fast-travel between worlds, because the Gummi Ship elicits a groan every single time it shows up.
