Considering that a remake of the 1977 film Pete's Dragon is on the way, giving the dragon we've known for almost 40 years one last opportunity to shine before his inevitably CGI successor stomps into theatres would be a fun way to honour the film. With the series having shown it's not afraid to tackle live-action films in the past, having adapted characters like Jack Sparrow and Tron, it'd be a neat twist plucking the only animated character from a live-action flick to join the series' long character roster. Though we're sure everyone behind the game could find a way to craft an entire world for Pete's Dragon if they put their minds to it - and that includes characters like Bolt, too - it'd be much easier and sensible to include him as a summon. With Pete having sent Elliott off at the end of the film, Sora could be the next boy the dragon is meant to help, with his invisibility and general strength proving invaluable time and again.
