10. Down: Lack Of Final Fantasy Characters
There's an elephant in the room when it comes to discussing Kingdom Hearts. Or perhaps a Behemoth is more fitting.
Yes, it's true. There are no Final Fantasy characters in Kingdom Hearts, and it feels like a bit of a slap in the face for fans of the series.
This is disappointing for two separate reasons. For one, there are a bunch of characters we've never seen in the Kingdom Hearts universe that we would have loved to be introduced here, such as Noctis and Lightning.
Secondly, some of the Final Fantasy characters were actually pretty important to the story in the first two games, and even in Birth By Sleep. What happened to Squall, Cloud, Yuffie and Zack? It just makes the experience feel a little hollow in some areas.
Although Disney is a huge part of what makes Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy is just as important to the series and needed to be treated as such.
Sephiroth not having a boss battle is just stupid.
