Kingdom Hearts 3: 8 Ups & 4 Downs

9. Down: Too Easy

Kingdom Hearts III
Square Enix

The principal complaint with Kingdom Hearts 3 at the moment is that it's way too easy. That's not an invalid complaint.

The problem with Kingdom Hearts 3's difficulty is that it gives you far too many mechanics at once, which essentially makes Sora an unstoppable powerhouse. Having a combination of Keyblade Transformations, Attractions and Links means you're unlikely to face any challenge.

This wouldn't be such a problem if the stakes weren't so high. This is supposed to be the last chapter of Kingdom Hearts as we know it, and there isn't really any moment in the game that has any bite to it.

Hopefully this gets remedied in the future with a Critical mode, but for now it makes the game a bit disappointing.

You can always try and do a level one proud run if you really want the challenge, but it's still a little disappointing that you have to craft this yourself.
