3. A Bug's Life
With Toy Story and Monsters, Inc. having joined Kingdom Hearts, it's time for Pixar's second-oldest film to join in too. While never a monster hit and its characters not necessarily the household names that early Pixar characters like Buzz, Woody, Mike, and Sully went on to become, A Bug's Life was a critically acclaimed back when it was released.
Like many of the other entries on this list, A Bug's Life has the potential to bring with it some truly stunning visuals as part of its world. Vibrancy is the key word here, and A Bug's World - for lack of a better, more creative name - would embrace that, with their models undoubtedly modified to take on the appearance of bugs, travels to places like Ant Island and P.T. Flea's circus.
It's been over two decades since the film's release, making it an important part of Pixar's legacy, and bringing characters like Flik, Dot, Heimlich, Francis, and, of course, the malicious Hopper into Kingdom Hearts would be a great way to both honor its importance and provide the series with a world truly unlike any other to date.
