2. Use New Game+ To Stand A Chance On Higher Difficulties

Like all the best games, hitting credits gives you a New Game+ toggle, carrying over all upgrades, weapons and unlocks into a full story playthrough, chapter select or encounter select.

The latter is a great way to test whether you can survive the hardest fights in the game on the highest setting, but you can start full playthroughs of Hard or Survivor, with all the perks from a lower difficulty playthrough right there.

Some weapons aren't given until you get to Seattle and the story kicks in proper, but if you want a leg up when tackling the hardest parts of gameplay this can throw at you, dive in.
