Last Of Us 2: 25 Easter Eggs, Details & References You Need To See

Sony may have pretty much left the PlayStation Vita to quietly die in a corner somewhere, but that doesn't mean that Naughty Dog doesn't still fondly remember it.

Remember that The Last of Us is set in a world where basically everything went to s**t in 2013. That's just two years after the release date of the Vita in 2011, so it would have still been going strong when Outbreak day hit.

Several years later, it appears survivors of the apocalypse have managed to get their hands on a Vita, as there's at least two areas in Last of Us Part 2 where you can find one.

The first one is in the hands of a wolf Ellie kills after emerging from a pool of water. If you listen closely, you can hear a song from Hotline Miami being played on it and if you look at it when it falls on the ground, you can even see it being played too. Hotline Miami released in 2012, so it's more than possible somebody would have it on their Vita.

During the exploration of the Wolf base when playing as Abby, you can also find another fella playing what looks like Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on his own Vita!
