Last Of Us 2: 25 Easter Eggs, Details & References You Need To See

Naughty Dog loves referencing their other titles in their games, and they squeezed an excellent Uncharted reference into The Last of Us Part 2.

When you're exploring in downtown Seattle with Dina, there's a section where you can stumble across a bank, filled with infected. After clearing them out and getting access to the vault, you can then find an interaction prompt next to a safety deposit box.

Activating this will make Ellie pull out a strange 'antique ring', which anyone who's ever played Uncharted will instantly recognise. Yes, it's everyone's favourite wise-cracking treasure hunter's prized possession, the ring of Sir Francis Drake. Just like in Uncharted, it's engraved with the legend Sic Parvis Magna, which translates as Greatness from Small Beginnings.

So, between this ring and finding actual copies of Uncharted games in the world, that's two references to Uncharted so far. Wonder if, maybe, Naughty Dog could go the extra mile and perhaps put an actual Nathan Drake costume in the game?
