League of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 1

T-2. TSM Snapdragon (3-2)

TSM-610x339 Spring split champion TSM Snapdragon performed well in the first match of the week against Team Coast. That match was pretty one-sided in favor of TSM. Following that victory, TSM lost two games. The first loss took place on the first day to the currently undefeated Cloud Nine, while the second happened on the second day as a surprise loss to Team Dignitas. However, on Day 3 of Super Week, the old TSM Snapdragon came back with a vengeance, beating Team Vulcun and Team Curse quickly and painfully. The current lineup for TSM Snapdragon includes Dyrus in top lane, Reginald in mid lane, TheOddOne in the jungle, Wild Turtle at AD carry, and Xpecial as an all-star support. First off, top lane Dyrus claimed that he has played the worst out of all top lanes in the tournament. The only person who thinks Dyrus is doing a bad job is Dyrus. Although his performance against Cloud Nine was lackluster, all of his other performances have been solid or great, especially his 6/1/4 performance as Jayce against Team Curse. Reginald continues to shine as a solo lane, although his performances were up and down. He played an awful game as Kennen against Team Dignitas, but certainly made up for it with amazing performances as Kha'Zix and Orianna in games against Team Coast and Team Curse respectively. Wild Turtle and Xpecial seemed to be out of sync a bit in the first few matches but currently look as though they have their timing down. Wild Turtle's underrated performances are quiet but effective, often overshadowed by Dyrus and Reginald. Xpecial played extremely well, especially keeping vision around the map. The Odd One had some uneven performances during Week 1. He used Elise in four out of five games, and only two out of those four games were successful. However, TSM Snapdragon is still a powerhouse and should remain at the top of the leader boards.
