League of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 2

T-2. TSM Snapdragon (4-3)

TSM-610x339 Like most teams this week, TSM Snapdragon went 1-1 after beating bottom of the leader board Velocity eSports on day one but losing a heartbreaking game against Counter Logic Gaming on day two. Counter Logic Gaming followed top lane player Dyrus all around the map and racked up several kills along with several towers on split pushes. TSM could not respond and keep it together, but the complete opposite took place against Velocity eSports. TSM was in complete control the whole time during that game. The hot and cold performances for TSM may hurt them later, but so far, they are still very competitive and definitely a team to beat. Top lane player Dyrus played very well against Velocity eSports, going 3/0/17 on Shen. However, Counter Logic Gaming stopped Dyrus in his tracks, ganking him every few minutes with Twisted Fate and Nocturne global ultimate moves. Mid lane player Reginald had one of his best performances against Velocity eSports and one of his worst games against Counter Logic Gaming, and both of them were with Karthus, one of his best champions. They need Reginald at his best if they want a crack at winning the whole thing. Jungler TheOddOne made a great 5/0/19 performance as Zac, but then had an underwhelming impact on the game against CLG. AD carry WildTurtle was definitely the most improved on this TSM squad this week, and he made some amazing plays on Caitlyn (14/1/11) and Ezreal (5/5/5) in both games. These plays included a cross map snipe of Velocity eSports' AD carry Maplestreet. Support Xpecial continued his solid and dependable play.
